Attend today’s Zoom faculty session on student choice and accessibility

Do you have a course assignment that could benefit from the power of student choice? Are you wondering how to encourage student ownership and accessibility in regards to demonstrating knowledge?

Faculty members are invited to join Maranda Turner, assistant professor of education, via Zoom tomorrow (Tuesday) from 3 to 4 p.m. for a session on “Embracing Student Choice in Assignments.”

This hour-long conversation, sponsored by Disability and Accessibility Services, will provide a short description of the benefits of implementing student choice and will unpack small steps that allow for increased student accessibility. It will also include a group conversation about how to balance the power of student choice with the demands of feedback and grading.
