On Tuesday, March 2, Plant Services will be shutting off the water in Ross and Bauman at 9 a.m. in order to make a repair. As soon as the repair is completed, the water will be restored.

Have you been diagnosed with Achilles tendinopathy, and are still having trouble? If so, you may qualify to participate in the Achilles tendon research study conducted by the PT department.

The Hadlock Student Center is expanding capacities in all areas starting tomorrow (Friday)! The Oregon Health Authority has lowered the risk level of Yamhill County to “high risk,” which allows us to serve more students.

The George Fox community is invited to come watch a fabulous faculty percussion concert from 3 to 3:45 p.m. this Saturday, Feb. 27, in Bauman Auditorium, or online via this Zoom link.
The concert will feature Dwayne Corbin, associate professor of instrumental music, and four Portland-area percussion pros! They will perform a suite of ragtime pieces, an original composition by Corbin, and his new arrangement of Philip Glass’s monumental work Metamorphosis.
In-person attendance is limited to 50 George Fox staff and students (no charge or tickets, and seating is on a first-come, first-seated basis). If you can’t make it in person, watch online!

The Sexual Misconduct CARE team (formerly known as the Title IX team) is interested in hearing student voices and perceptions of the sexual misconduct policy on campus. Some questions may include the following: What are your general impressions of the policy? What is clear/unclear?
If you are interested in offering your voice and thoughts, we invite you to participate in our focus group. You do not need to have prior experience or knowledge of the sexual misconduct policy in order to participate.
The target date for the focus group meeting is during the first week of March. Please fill out this Google Form to let us know what times and days work for you!
We will be limiting the focus group to six people, so make sure to fill out the form and someone will be in contact with you.

Join Courtney Anderegg, assistant professor of communication, and Disability & Accessibility Services for a faculty conversation on course preparation from 3 to 4 p.m. tomorrow (Friday)Â via this Zoom link.
In this workshop, we will focus on course preparation with a focus on universal design and anticipating student accommodations. If instructors work with this student-centered approach to course preparation, accommodation requests will seem less burdensome and the Be Known promise will be enacted even before a student steps into the classroom.
