Help create congratulations video for Class of 2020

As you can imagine, this semester has been very disruptive to graduating seniors. Commencement will not take place on Saturday, May 2, as originally planned. Instead, the university will celebrate the graduates virtually that day, and a plan is in place for an in-person celebration on Saturday, Aug. 15.

We know this change is disappointing for our graduates. Fortunately, there is something tangible we can do to encourage them, and we’d love for you to be a part of it. Help us create a congratulations video montage that will be shared with Bruins virtually! It’s a simple yet powerful way to spread a little cheer during this tough time.

Here’s how to send your message:

  • With your phone in landscape mode (turned sideways), record a three- to five-second message of “Congratulations!”, “We’re proud of you!” or “Good luck!”
  • Email your video to alumni@georgefox.edu.
  • Include your name and graduation year in the email.
  • Send it in by the end of today (Thursday).

Your clip will be shared with graduating Bruins on Saturday, May 2. Thank you for encouraging the Class of 2020 during this difficult transition! Questions? Contact Sara Reamy at sreamy@georgefox.edu.
