Information on voluntary respiratory protection

If you voluntarily choose to wear an N95 filtering face-piece (dust mask), OR-OSHA requires employers to provide employees with a copy of Appendix D of 1910.134, Respiratory Protection. This appendix is available online here.

Before using a N95 filtering face-piece, read and follow the instructions for cleaning, inspecting, maintaining and storing your mask.

If you voluntarily choose to use a higher form of respiratory protection such as a negative-pressure (any cartridge type), powered-air, or supplied-air respirator, contact Dan Schutter (dschutte@georgefox.edu), as a medical evaluation and fit testing may be required.
