Check out these activities this week at the Portland Center

The seminary is holding our face-to-face class meet-ups this week, and we will have several activities going on that all Portland Center students, staff and faculty are welcome to join.

  • Visio Divina Devotionals:- Do you like art? Check out one of the four devotionals inspired by four of the art pieces in the building. Look for the arrows to find one. A perfect way to spend 10 minutes of your break!
  • Chapel Experience: The chapel will also be open for individual prayer Tuesday through Thursday, Feb. 25-27, from noon to 1 p.m., with poems and other activities available to guide you if you’d like.
  • Collage Away: Drop by the library any time Tuesday through Thursday to add your special artistic touch to our community collage!
  • Panel Discussion: Bring your lunch and join us for a panel discussion on Wednesday, Feb. 26, in Room 155 from noon to 1 p.m. on the topic of suffering, faith and pastoral care, featuring Ekaterina Lomperis, author of Essentials Readings in Medicine and Religion, and Providence chaplain and faculty member Thomas Payne.
