Worry about falling? Sign up for fall risk screening with PT students

Do you ever worry about falling? Have you fallen, or do you feel unsteady? Second-year physical therapy students are conducting research on fall risk screening and would love to help keep you safe!

We are looking for adults aged 50 and older living independently in the community. Participation takes about an hour with physical assessments and a small amount of paperwork. You will receive guidance on exercises to help you achieve activity goals that are meaningful to you! Referrals to physical therapy and community-based exercise programs are an option as well.

Sessions are scheduled from noon to 2 p.m. on Friday, May 10, and from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday, May 24, in the Roberts Center.

Please contact Austyn Byassee at abyassee17@georgefox.edu to sign up!
