Former PGE CEO Peggy Fowler to speak at next Industry Insiders

Peggy Fowler, a 1973 George Fox University graduate in chemistry and math, loves George Fox and is eager to come back to campus to talk to students at the next Industry Insiders on Tuesday, Feb. 19, at 7 p.m. in Hoover 105.

All are invited to come hear about Peggy’s remarkable professional life and how she broke the glass ceiling. If you plan to come, please RSVP here.

Peggy began her tenure at Portland General Electric in 1974 as a chemist in the company’s analytical lab and went on to manage almost every major area of the company before becoming PGE’s first female CEO in 2000. A subsidiary of ENRON at the time, Peggy guided PGE through scandal and the biggest bankruptcy in U.S. history.
