Join ‘The Mental Game with Cleveland Cavaliers’ Kevin Love’ watch party tomorrow

George Fox’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee is hosting a watch party for a New York Times college event with NBA star Kevin Love tomorrow (Thursday) at 3:30 p.m. in Hoover 105.

Cleveland Cavaliers power forward/center Love has been a passionate advocate for promoting mental health awareness. You may have read his article in the Player’s Tribune called “Everyone Is Going Through Something.” The article details his experience with a panic attack.

The watch party will end with a Q&A session with Bill Buhrow, dean of student services and director of health and counseling services, and Lori Napier, a doctor of clinical psychological student with a clinical rotation within athletics.

The Center for Collegiate Mental Health shows that nearly 1 in 5 college students are affected by anxiety or depression. You are not alone!

Elective chapel credit is available for this event. Everyone is welcome to join!
