Find your fit with new health and wellness program

Would you like to help our exercise science students learn while improving your own health? Health and Human Performance and Employee Empowerment are partnering to offer employees the chance to participate in an exciting new health and wellness program.

As part of the program, you will have an appointment in the exercise science laboratory to get a comprehensive health and fitness assessment that includes the following measurements: blood pressure, blood glucose, body composition, resting electrocardiogram, resting metabolic rate, cardio-respiratory fitness, muscular strength, and flexibility.

Following these measurements, an exercise science student will develop a customized two-month exercise prescription based on your measurements. Following this two-month program, you will have a chance to perform follow-up assessments to measure your progress. The goals of the program are to improve your aerobic and muscular fitness, health and well-being!

If you would like to learn more, click here to receive the details of the program. We can only serve the first 30 to respond, so do not wait! The deadline to sign up is Monday, Nov. 19.
