“Evening of Jazz” concert on Saturday
The music department invites the campus community to “An Evening of Jazz†concert on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in Bauman Auditorium. The concert will feature jazz trumpeter Clay Jenkins, who will perform with the George Fox University Jazz Ensemble and Faculty Trio.
Clay is an associate professor of music at the Eastman School of Music. He has performed and recorded albums with the bigs bands of Stan Kenton, Harry James, Buddy Rich, Count Basie and the Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra, as well as countless other jazz luminaries.
George Fox students and employees are entitled to one free ticket available with a current university ID presented at the door. Additional tickets are available for purchase at georgefox.edu/concerts.
