Portland police officer speaks on ‘Transcending Exile’ Monday night
Join us for the sixth Liberal Arts and Critical Issues presentation of the semester this Monday, Oct. 3, when Natasha Haunsperger, an officer in the Portland Police Department, speaks on the topic “Transcending Exile” in Hoover 105. The same presentation will be made from 5 to 6 p.m. and from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Haunsperger will speak about the Portland police work to holistically engage with Muslim refugee and immigrant communities while assisting with the navigation of the criminal justice system.
