Vespers follow-up conversation in Stevens 209 today

This week in Vespers, we encountered a passage in the Gospel of Luke in which Jesus told parables that depicted the God-figure of the story with a male and a female character (Luke 13:10-21). This may not be something that you have ever noticed before. If you would like to have a conversation with University Pastor and Dean for Spiritual and Intercultural Life Dr. Jamie Noling-Auth, join us this morning (Friday) from 9 to 9:45 a.m. in Stevens 209 for a conversation entitled, “The Parables of Jesus: The Use of Male and Female Metaphors to Describe God’s Character.”

If you are unable to attend this forum but would like to discuss this idea further, any one of the three university pastors would love to talk with you. Feel free to contact us at spirituallife@georgefox.edu.
