Know students who need help with their writing? Encourage them to attend a workshop this week.
Polly Peterson, visiting assistant professor of English, will present “Correcting Common Writing Mistakes” at an Academic Resource Center-sponsored workshop this Thursday, Feb. 4, from 10:50 to 11:35 a.m. in Lemmons 8. The workshop will help students understand, identify and correct the top-10 grammatical errors that annoy professors the most.
