Interested in auditioning for fall play?
For students interested in auditioning for Moliere’s Tartuffe, the fall play, here is all the info you need …
General Auditions, Wednesday, Sept. 2 (7-10 p.m.): Actors should prepare one classic, 90-second comic monologue (from a play other than Tartuffe). A “classic†monologue is one that comes from a play written prior to 1800. Please sign up for a five-minute audition time slot on the audition board in Lemmons Hall.
First Callbacks, Friday, Sept 4. (7-10 p.m.): Actors should arrive warmed up (physically and vocally) and dressed in comfortable movement clothing (sweat pants or shorts and top; no jeans, no shoes/socks). First callbacks will consist of ensemble movement work and reading from sides.
Second Callbacks, Saturday, Sept. 5 (10 a.m. – 1 p.m.): Actors should arrive warmed up (physically and vocally) and dressed in comfortable movement clothing (sweat pants or shorts and top; no jeans, no shoes/socks). Second callbacks will primarily consist of reading from sides, but there is the possibility of further movement work.
