Play ‘Eleemosynary’ presented in MLRC

See the library theatrically transform into a world where a girl wins the National Spelling Bee, with the word she feels responsible for: “Eleemosynary” (a noun, meaning charitable, or the giving of alms). The play explores the pain and love of family relationships from the perspective of three generations of women.

Eleemosynary plays tonight (Friday) and Saturday at 8:30 p.m. in the Murdock Learning Resource Center. The production is being presented by George Fox theatre’s honor society, Alpha Psi Omega.

The play, written by Lee Blessing and directed by Cambria Herrera, runs for an hour and 15 minutes. Tickets are $5 and are sold at the door. First come, first serve.
