John Brown professor Jay Bruce speaks on campus April 11

The university’s politics program invites you to join us for a free presentation by Jay Bruce, associate professor of philosophy at John Brown University. He will present “Is Social Justice a Threat to Liberty?” at 6 p.m. Friday, April 11, in Hoover 105.

Two students from the philosophy club will offer responses to the presentation question.

Bruce holds degrees in engineering, religion and philosophy, including a PhD from Baylor University, an MA from the University of Oxford and an AB from Dartmouth College. His first book, Rights in the Law: The Importance of God’s Free Choices in the Thought of Francis Turretin, was published last year.
