2013-14 Financial Aid

Many students have received 2013-14 Financial Aid Award Notifications from Student Financial Services.  If you have not yet heard about funding for the next academic year and are wondering why, here are a few reasons:

  • Your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) has not yet been received at the university.
  • Your FAFSA has been received but is rejected.  This  is often due to a missing student and/or parent signature.
  • You have filed the FAFSA but have missing documents that are required for packaging your financial aid.  Please check your myGFU “to do” list to see what is needed.
  • You are not yet registered full time (12+credits per semester)  in both Fall and Spring of next year.

Please note:  If you are graduating in December 2013, please contact your financial aid counselor to let her know so she can prepare your aid package accordingly.
