Donut fundraiser in Bruin Den supports ‘Race to 2025’
A team of four students (Mary Owen, Kyle Webster, Bethany Widdicombe, and Nick Largusa) are raising funds for and participating in the “Race to 2025” held this weekend in Montana. To help raise funds for the trip, Nick will be making fresh donuts in the Bruin Den today (Thursday) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 4:30 to 7 p.m. The donuts are free with donation.
More than 200 million people from 2,200 different language groups still do not have God’s Word in their language. “Race To 2025” is an adventure race fundraiser held by Wycliffe Bible Translators that has the goals of creating awareness for the need in Bible translating, raising up a new generation of Bible translating missionaries, and raising funds for the Bible translating currently happening in Cameroon, Africa.
Any and all donations raised on campus will go straight to the Wycliffe Cameroon project. Contact Nick (nlargusa@gmail.com) if you have questions.
Blessings
