Parade of flags event still in need of volunteers

We are still looking for people to represent a country flag in the Oct. 24 chapel to open Cultural Celebration Week. Whether you are native, lived in that country, or have a strong connection, we invite you to be a part of a bi-annual chapel performance.

If you are interested, contact Dianna McIntyre or Shelley Yonemura right away. You will also need to be available for these dates:

  • Sunday, Oct 23, 1-2:30 p.m.: You need to be here for the entire practice. We need to coordinate a large group of flag walkers and dancers. You’ll be learning a very easy walk routine.
  • Monday, Oct 24, 10:15- 11:30 a.m.: We’ll need you to come to chapel early to line up and receive your flag. Performance will be at the beginning of chapel, around 10:40 a.m.

It’s really important that you attend both events on the times stated. Please make sure you can do this before making a commitment!
