Music department hosts two concerts for Family Weekend
The university community is invited to two concerts on campus this Friday and Saturday, Nov. 5-6.
Jazz Concert
On Friday, jazz saxophonist Allan Chase will perform with the university’s Jazz Ensemble and a faculty trio at 7:30 p.m. in Bauman Auditorium.
All employees and students are entitled to one individual complimentary ticket, available for pick-up in the Bruin Bookstore. Additional tickets cost $10 (good for a family of four), and can be purchased by calling the University Box Office at ext. 3844, online, or in the lobby the night of the concert.
Family Weekend Concert
On Saturday, the university’s Family Weekend fall concert is scheduled at 4 p.m. in Bauman Auditorium. Admission is free. The event will feature performances by the university’s Women’s Chorale, String Ensemble, Men’s Ensemble, Concert Choir and Symphonic Band.
