Spring concert features mass choir in Bauman Friday
The university’s Concert Choir and Symphonic Band are among the groups scheduled to perform at a spring concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 23, in Bauman Auditorium.
The event also will include a mass choir singing Vivaldi’s Gloria. The choir will include the George Fox Concert Choir and Women’s Chorale, as well as the Newberg First United Methodist Church Choir and members of the university community.
Admission to the event is free and no tickets are required.
The Symphonic Band will perform Mark Camphouse’s Whatsover Things, Jan Van Der Roost’s Tre Sentimenti, and Andrew Boyden Jr.’s Kirkpatrick Fanfare. The Concert Choir will follow with performances of Clausen’s All that Hath Life and Breath; a traditional Appalachian song, Bright Morning Stars; and Stephen Paulus’ God Be With Us.
