Haven of Hope Ranch – Opportunities for GFU Students

Do you love horses, love children, and are interested in volunteering in your community?

Haven of Hope is a non-profit, volunteer run organization that offers horse therapy to disabled and under privileged children of all ages. The ranch is in need of volunteers who can commit a few hours a week towards the program. If you would like to learn more about how you can help encourage children through interaction with horses, or even are interested in mucking out stables, grooming, or feeding the horses, please get involved.

Haven of Hope is located only about 15 minutes up the road from George Fox University. Saturday the 12th at 8:30am, there will be a “horse 101” training “class” at the stables for those interested in volunteering.

For more information or if you are interested in making a donation, please contact Holli Reverman at 503-487-7498. If you have transportation issues, or would like to follow someone up to the Ranch, contact Alicia Fleetwood at afleetwood07@georgefox.edu.
