Behavioral health clinic offers free parenting skills group

The George Fox Behavioral Health Clinic is offering an eight-week, educational parenting skills group free of charge. The group, designed for parents of all ages, will meet from 4:30 to 6 p.m. each Monday from April 20 through June 8. The sessions will help parents develop behaviors they want from their kids without getting angry, improve bonding with their children, improve child compliance with directions, and reduce power struggles with children.

Please encourage anyone you think could benefit from this class to sign up. Please sign up with Tammy O’Doherty (Graduate Department of Clinical Psychology) at the VAC or via e-mail at GFBHC@georgefox.edu.
