Help available for struggling undergraduate students
Do you have a student who is struggling in one of your classes or in their student employee job? Has a student been consistently missing your class or work? Do they appear to have gained or lost weight in a short amount of time? Has their demeanor changed or do they appear to be depressed? Are they struggling academically, socially or spiritually?
One of Student Life’s priorities is to support the academic mission of the institution by assisting students who may be experiencing various types of difficulties. The problems students encounter include poor academic performance, health problems, emotional difficulties, disruptive behavior in the classrooms or residence halls, adjustment issues, financial difficulties, lifestyle problems, and family concerns.
Every year faculty members contact us and we offer appropriate intervention so a student can find help with these issues. To get details on how we can help, visit the Student Support Network site.
