Film ‘Freedom Writers’ shown Wednesday in EHS 102
The university community is invited to attend a showing of the film Freedom Writers from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, in EHS 102. The film, starring Hilary Swank and Patrick Dempsey, is part of Multicultural Services’ Faith and Film Series.
Synopsis: A young teacher (Swank) inspires her class of at-risk students to learn tolerance, apply themselves, and pursue education beyond high school.
