Film ‘Amazing Grace’ shown Jan. 16 in Hoover 105
Multicultural Services will host a Faith and Film event featuring the movie Amazing Grace, based on the inspiring true life story of British antislavery pioneer William Wilberforce.
The film will be shown 7 to 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, in Hoover 105.
It’s the age of the Great British Empire and Wilberforce is a newcomer to the world of politics. He must learn to operate in a world of skillful deception and cunning one-upmanship in order to attain his goal: the abolition of the slave trade.
