Update on Turnitin for FoxTALE assignments

Tuesday, May 24th, 2016

In February of this past spring semester, our installation of Turnitin started experiencing an issue in processing student file submissions in the standard FoxTALE assignment activity. All files appeared as “pending” and did not produce an originality report.

We have continued to work with Turnitin to resolve the issues affecting the originality reports in the regular FoxTALE assignments. We are starting to see that submissions made weeks ago are now beginning to process. Students are receiving email confirmations from Turnitin on those submissions. We apologize for any confusion this may be causing you or your students.

We are continuing to test with Turnitin through this week to confirm that submission processing is restored. We will send another update when we are confident that the issue is resolved and testing is concluded.

If you have questions, please contact the Service Desk at servicedesk@georgefox.edu or 503-554-2569.
