Are you enthusiastic about your experience here at George Fox? Are you looking for an outlet to share that with prospective students?

The undergraduate admissions office is currently accepting applications for the University Ambassadors Program. This elite group of individuals represent the university to visiting students, through hosting lunches, campus tours, etc., and have a huge impact on recruiting incoming Bruins. If you would like to be a part of this fun group, you can fill out the application at the link below.

All invited to service of remembrance for Daniel Mellers this afternoon

The university pastors will be hosting a service of remembrance honoring Daniel Mellers, beloved friend and classmate who died on April 23, 2017. The service will be held today (Tuesday) at 4 p.m. in Canyon Commons 101. All are welcome.

Interested in being a mentor to youth? Come to Little Bruins info meeting tonight

Do you enjoy building people up and helping them reach their full potential? Interested in being a mentor for kids in local elementary and middle schools? Then come to Little Bruins info sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday nights after Shalom and Vespers chapel.

Little Bruins is a mentoring program that pairs college students with kids in local elementary and middle schools. They meet one hour a week, play sports, work on homework, and build lasting relationships, full of impact in Christ’s name.

We meet Tuesdays at 9:20 p.m. in Canyon Commons and Wednesdays at 8 p.m. in Bauman Auditorium. Come tonight to learn more!

Volleyball, men’s soccer teams host home games this week

Don’t miss your chance to see the women’s volleyball team and the men’s soccer team in action this week! Catch the volleyball matchup between the Bruins and Blue Mountain at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 7. Then on Sunday, Sept. 10, the men’s soccer team takes on Northwest Christian at 3 p.m.

Adam Puckett speaks tomorrow night at first Bruins LEAD event of semester

Bruins LEAD is starting back up again this week! This is open to anyone and everyone who wants to become a better leader. Snacks will be provided!

Sessions meet on five Tuesday nights from 8:40 to 9:40 p.m. in Hoover 105. Here is the schedule for the semester:

Need a new employee photo? Come to photo shoot Wednesday at Crisman Crossing

Attention Newberg campus employees: University photographer Sarah Small will be at the Crisman Crossing bridge for a scheduled photo shoot this Wednesday, Sept. 6, between 10 a.m. and noon.

If your employee photo on the university website is in need of updating, this is your chance to get it done! Not sure if you need a retake? If your existing photo is more than two years old, is poorly lit, is out of focus, and/or has a gray, brown or black background, it’s time for an update.

No appointment is necessary, and each photo subject will be done in only a minute or two. Solid, neutral clothing colors are recommended.

We are looking for ambitious, energetic and dedicated ladies and gentlemen trained in jazz and hip-hop. Dance team will be performing at basketball game halftimes, supporting George Fox athletics, and engaging with the community in a variety of ways. Come join us!

Commuters: Lockers are available for you on campus

Commuters: Did you know that we provide lockers for you to store your personal belongings in between classes? The lockers are located in the FoxHole, on the lower level of Klages Center.

Contact the Student Life Office by emailing studentlife@georgefox.edu to rent a locker this year. The cost is a $10 deposit and will be returned to you once you return your key.
