Are you leaving the country for the break or traveling outside the U.S.? Has it been a while since you changed your account password?
The IT department recommends that you change your password before heading to a foreign time zone or an area where internet and phone service is less accessible.
Should you need any assistance, the Service Desk will be available from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday over the break. The university will be closed Dec. 25-27 and Jan. 1.

There is a new museum exhibit in the Hoover-Hatfield Library (Hoover 104) highlighting historic items and pictures from our baseball, cheer, football, volleyball and men’s basketball teams from the 1920s to early 1970s. Feel free to stop by (when there are not meetings or classes in session) to view the exhibit.
As a reminder, there are historic Christmas and New Year’s cards as well as other historic objects in cases on the first floor of the Stevens Center. In the museum cases in Canyon Commons, there is a small exhibit on how students spent their free time in the early 20th century.
If you have questions about any of these exhibits, please contact Caitlin Corning (ccorning@georgefox.edu).

Meal plans have been rolled over for the spring semester, and charges have been applied to your bill. Students who are eligible to change their meal plan for the spring semester will be able to do so starting Monday, Dec. 18. After this date, please log in to your Housing & Meal Plan Intent Form to make this change. Keep in mind that students living on campus are eligible for meal plans based on the number of completed credits earned.
If you are expecting to change your meal plan for the spring semester and you don’t have the options you were hoping to find, you may need to wait until all your grades have been entered to complete this change. Grades are generally due by Dec. 25. Changes made after Jan. 8, 2018, may be subject to our refund policy. The final deadline for all declining meal plan changes will be Friday, Jan. 19, 2018.
Please refer to our policies and procedures on the Meal Plan Policies & Procedure page. If you have any questions or concerns, contact Jere Witherspoon (jwitherspoon@georgefox.edu or 503-554-2316) in the student life office. If you aren’t riding your bike, please consider taking it home this week and bringing it back spring break when the weather is a bit more conducive to bike riding. If that is not a possibility, then please remove it from the outdoor bike racks and keep it in your dorm room or apartment so it isn’t a temptation to thieves.
Thank you!
