We’re heading out on Route 66 again this summer and will be serving up foods that pay homage to this quintessential all-American highway every Wednesday (with the exception of July 4) from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., starting June 6 and running through Aug. 1.
We’ll be on the patio outside Canyon Commons the first few weeks and finish off our culinary journey on the patio outside the Klages Center. Don’t forget to pick up a road trip punch card and have it punched every time you join us; those who visit four or more times will be entered into a drawing for a raffle prize at the end of the road!

If you’re on campus tomorrow (Sunday), feel free to come watch the moving of the historic Villa Road House, which will be transported, along with the smaller carriage house, down Fulton and North Meridian streets to a new location on Sheridan Street. The Villa Road House will be renamed the Chehalem House.
The move will begin at around 5:30 a.m. and finish up late in the afternoon. The university has obtained a public right-of-way permit, so no street parking will be allowed on affected portions of Fulton Street or North Meridian Street tonight until after the structures have passed. Parking will be available in the Bauman and Stoffer Stadium lot.
There will be detours and road closures throughout the day. Most notably, North Meridian will be closed at Highway 99W as the house navigates onto the new site. Fulton and North Meridian streets will be blocked for portions of Sunday.
For all the details on the move, visit this page.

Starting Monday, June 4, the sidewalk and lawn area on the south side of the Roberts Center near the physical therapy entrance and the pathway between Canyon Commons and the Hadlock Student Center will be closed and blocked off for construction work. There may be a pathway available close to the Roberts Center, but it will be through the bushes and planter bed (not hard surface).
Pedestrian traffic from Lewis Apartments and Sherman Street east of the Hadlock Student Center to Canyon Commons and the Crisman Crossing pedestrian bridge will need to go the long way around Roberts Center to Brandt Hall and the north side of Canyon Commons (access through North Street).
The construction of this area is expected to be finished by Monday, June 25. Thank you for your patience as we complete updating this area!

The default homepage is your dashboard and shows a course overview page listing your course sites in a “timeline†view or “courses†view. The courses view shows your courses divided in three tabs: In Progress, Future and Past. Courses are listed here according to start dates and end dates.
- Because not all courses have the same start date, you may need to adjust your course start or end date. To learn more, view the guide FoxTALE Course Overview.
- Use your new, empty, course sites as the sites in which you will teach. You may import content from another course site. See the instructions here for importing.
- You may need to add sections to your course home page: Manage Course Sections video
- All course sites are initially created hidden from student view. When you are ready, you can make your course site visible to your enrolled students. Here is a guide on how to make your course visible: FoxTALE Making Courses Visible to Students.
- Remember that all students enrolled in your class in MyGFU will automatically be enrolled in your FoxTALE course site. As students add and drop your course in MyGFU, they will be added or removed automatically from your FoxTALE site.
Metacourses may be used in special cases where you want to use one FoxTALE site for multiple sections of the same class. If you would like to use a metacourse, contact the Service Desk for assistance with setting them up.
Visit the FoxTALE for Faculty webpage for guides and resources.

We’ve been receiving calls wondering when vehicle registration for this fall will open up, and the answer is July! It will be a roll-out registration like last summer, with those who will be seniors registering first, then juniors, then sophomores, etc. Information will be posted in the Daily Bruin and sent via email, so keep watching for further details.
Commuter and graduate permits won’t be limited, but residential permits will be, so please carefully consider if you really do need a car on campus – or if taking advantage of the Enterprise Car Share program would be a much cheaper alternative, as permits will be $100 per semester.
Questions? Contact Nadine Kincaid (nkincaid@georgefox.edu).
