You’re invited to attend the Career and Internship Fair at Portland State University on Tuesday, Oct. 16! Over 80 employers will be there to talk about jobs and internships for this spring and summer.
Employers will include Boeing, the Beaverton School District, the Oregon Health Authority, PGE and U.S. Bank. See the full list of employers here. Ride down with other George Fox students and IDEA Center staff or go on your own. Vans will depart at 10:45 a.m. and return to campus by 2:30 p.m.

We are starting a number of employee-only group fitness classes, some of which begin this week in the Hadlock Student Center.
On Monday and Wednesday starting Sept. 24, we will be offering yoga with Stacie Cannon from 5 to 6 p.m. Stacie is a veteran yoga instructor with more than 15 years of teaching experience. Whether you have taken yoga for years or this is your first time, this class is for you. Come by tomorrow (Wednesday) if you missed Monday’s yoga class.
Starting on Tuesday, Oct. 9, we will be offering HIIT Boot Camp from noon to 12:45 p.m., and Thursday, Oct. 11, we will be offering Barre Fusion from noon to 12:45 p.m. These classes will be taught by our very own Katie Sol from Employee Empowerment. Katie has been an instructor and manager at Excel Fitness for 15-plus years and has her personal training certificate.

If your spouse or dependent needs to obtain a George Fox University ID card in order to access the Hadlock Student Center or other services on campus that require an ID card, please email the IT Service Desk at servicedesk@georgefox.edu.
You will then receive an email with information explaining what’s needed to complete the process for obtaining an ID card, including completion of a necessary waiver to use this new facility. Please be aware that this process takes several days to complete.
For those with a spouse or dependent who already has an ID card, watch for an email containing instructions on how to complete the new process.

Floor leaders are responsible for recruiting floor-mates to host prospective students during large admissions events. Wanted applicants are those who are excited about hosting prospective students.
