All continuing graduate and DPS students will need to exchange their old ID card as soon as possible. If you are new this school year, you already have the new card.

Due to expected high-volume traffic, IT will have a table set up in the south building lobby from 5 to 6 p.m. through Thursday, Sept. 5. 

ID cards can be exchanged at the IT office in the library any time you are at the Portland Center from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays, and Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Campus Public Safety has given a week of warnings to educate everybody on where they should park. Tickets start this week!

If you are still unsure about where your permit allows you to park, please review the parking brochure online or come see us at the Campus Public Safety office. If you registered your vehicle before Aug. 12 and haven’t received your permit, please come to the CPS office for assistance.

We will be scheduling two volunteer meetings on Thursday, Sept. 5, one at 4 p.m. in Stevens 207 and another at 7 p.m. in the Bruin Den.

The undergraduate admissions office is now accepting applications for this year’s University Ambassadors group. 

The University Ambassadors are an elite group of students who represent the university to visiting prospective students and families by volunteering two and a half hours each week, hosting lunch and chapel, greeting and directing people at events, leading occasional campus tours and generally helping make visitors’ experience awesome.

All graduate and DPS students are required to pick up their new ID card this week. There will be a representative in the main lobby of the south building from 5 to 6 p.m. every day from Monday, Sept. 2, through Thursday, Sept. 5.

It will only take a moment to exchange your old card. Building access is changing to proximity cards, and the old cards will no longer work.

Volunteers are needed to assist at the first aid tent at this year’s home football games. You will need a valid Certified First Aid card.

Home games are scheduled Sept. 7, Sept. 21, Oct. 12, Oct. 26 and Nov. 9. Volunteers will need to stay for the whole game. If interested, please email Mark Stone at mstone@georgefox.edu.

The Collegiate Rocket League is back and is looking for players! The Collegiate Rocket League Qualifiers take place on Sunday, Sept. 15, and Sunday, Sept. 22.

Compete with other schools from across the nation for the chance to win a slice of $75,000. We are looking for all skill levels, so don’t be shy to sign up. Registration ends Thursday, Sept. 12.
