The Department of Music invites you to its annual Spring Concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 25, in Bauman Auditorium. The concert features the Chehalem Symphony Orchestra, George Fox Symphonic Band, as well as the university’s Concert Choir, Women’s Chorale and Master Chorus performing Mass of the Children with the Chehalem Symphony Orchestra.
Students and employees are entitled to one complimentary ticket to the performance. Additional tickets are available to purchase online, at music.georgefox.edu, or at the Box Office in the Pennington House.
Take a break from studying and join us for late-night breakfast in the Bon on dead day (Monday, April 28) at 10 p.m.!
The final Fox & Friends event is tonight (Thursday) at 7 p.m.! Join residents at Friendsview for ice cream sundaes and games! Celebrate the coming of summer and a year well-spent with the elderly in the community. A group of students will be meeting in the Bruin Den at 6:45 p.m. to walk over to Friendsview together.

Today (Thursday), FCA is sponsoring a barbecue at the baseball game at 4 p.m. All students with a student ID will get a free grilled hot dog and peanuts. All other fans can purchase a hot dog for $2. Bring a blanket to sit on and be ready to cheer your Bruins to victory! Follow the George Fox Athletics Facebook page to stay up-to-date on the rain plan, if necessary.

Tonight (Thursday) is the final performance of Alpha Psi Omega’s Third and Oak: The Laundromat, a one-act play by Marsha Norman and directed by Cambria Herrera. The performance is at 10:45 p.m. at the Newberg Coin Laundromat at 1100 N. Springbrook Road.
Tickets are available at the door for $5.
Only two more days! Collection week has been extended through this Friday, April 25, for those who have items to donate toward our Summer Serve garage sale.
If you have items you’d like to donate to a good cause, drop them off at the Spiritual Life House between 2 and 5 p.m. through Friday of this week. All donations will be sold at the Summer Serve garage sale on Saturday, April 26, and will help fund the teams going to Romania/Moldova, Kenya and Argentina.

Come join the spiritual life and student life departments in commissioning Sarah Baldwin and Clint Baldwin in their future endeavors! We will host a farewell reception for them from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, in the Stevens Center’s Duke Atrium.
Sarah served George Fox as the dean of spiritual life and university pastor, and Clint has served as the director of Center for Peace and Justice. Sarah has accepted the position of vice president of student development at Asbury University.
Let’s celebrate this new step in their journey as well as thank them for the time they have spent in developing our campus community!

The university’s College of Engineering invites you to its annual Engineering Expo this Friday, April 25. The event will begin with Senior Design project presentations, scheduled from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. in EHS 102, 119 and 125, and the Expo will commence at 3:30 p.m. in the EHS Atrium (Ron Gregory Atrium).
The Expo will feature project displays from the program’s industry-sponsored Senior Design and Servant Engineering teams for companies and organizations, including NASA, Oregon Commission for the Blind, Aprovecho Research Center, InStove, 5-Rock Ranch, City of Newberg, Heshima, Astronics, Yamhill County, CUI, Climax, ODFW, Siemens, Greater Yamhill Watershed Council, Cascade Steel and 3D Systems.

Applications for May Term/Summer housing are available to students on the student life website and in the student life office. Students have until Friday, April 25, to complete the application and return it to student life.
We are asking students to verify their employment by having supervisors email housing@georgefox.edu so we can keep track of this information. As you hire summer workers, please notify the housing department.
