Join us on Wednesday, March 11, at 6:30 p.m. in the International Student Center (International House), when Liberty in North Korea (LiNK) “nomads” share a 30-minute multimedia presentation that outlines the current challenges that the North Korean people are facing.
Among the stories told are of North Korean refugees who have made the incredible journey to freedom and the bottom-up changes that North Koreans are driving (like black markets and accessing foreign technology and media).
Their nomads will also introduce a brand-new initiative called “To the North Korean People,” which gives people here in North America and around the world the opportunity to send personal messages of support to the North Korean people.
Following the presentation, there will be a Q&A session and a chance for audience members to mingle with the nomads, check out the LiNK merchandise and find out more ways to get involved.
