Pay it Forward at Exodus

March 18th, 2015

Graduating seniors! As graduation approaches, you may find yourself reflecting on the opportunities you’ve had and memories you’ve made as a student at George Fox.

Now consider what it might be like if all you’ve experienced at Fox were cut short due to a fine or hold. Some of you may have experienced the burden of this and know the frustration it entails. We don’t think fines and holds should stand in the way of all you have worked for!

Please make sure to stop by the advancement table at Exodus to find out how you can help others clear financial holds and make a George Fox education possible for other Bruins! Be Known for the difference you make!

Questions? Please contact Caroline Jovanovich, director of annual giving programs, at cjovanovich@georgefox.edu.

Last call to complete housing form

March 18th, 2015

The Housing Selection Form will only be accessible through Friday, March 20. Please make sure to complete this if you would like to be considered as part of the selection process. In order for this form to work you will have needed to pay your housing deposit. The housing deposit is due by 5 p.m. today (Thursday). You can pay the deposit to student accounts on the first floor of the Stevens Center.

To complete the form, you will need to login with your MyGFU username and password. This will give you access to a housing code that you can share with the rest of your group. One person from each group will then fill out the remainder of the form with the housing codes for the entire group. Once you have entered and confirmed your roommate choices you will be asked to rank the order of your housing preferences.

If you do not have a group you can participate in housing selection as an individual. In this case we will look at placing you with others who have an opening in their living area. Please note that placing individuals often takes longer, as we need to place groups in housing first. This means you may not know your housing assignment until later in April or May.

Questions? Please refer to the Residence Life website or email housing@georgefox.edu.
