We are going to hear Philosophy Professor Phil Smith give a lecture on American Philosopher Alvin Plantinga’s theories about subjects including naturalism, supernaturalism and evolution, and how all of these play into a Christian worldview.

The George Fox community is invited to take part in a special free event this Saturday, March 12, featuring authors Gabe Lyons and David Kinnaman. They will present a 90-minute seminar titled “Good Faith Live,” in which they will discuss “being Christian when society thinks you’re irrelevant or extreme.” The event is being presented by the Barna Group.
The event is set from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Imago Dei, located at 1302 S.E. Ankeny St., in Portland. In it, Lyons and Kinnaman will help Christians know how to engage the changing cultural landscape, emphasizing leading with love and common good expressions of faith, while remaining true to Scripture even on contentious topics.
