All invited to chapel and Vespers this week

November 27th, 2016

This week in chapel and Vespers it’s all about seeing our very own. Tim Timmerman is speaking Tuesday morning in chapel (10:50 a.m.) to continue our series “We Believe.”

In Vespers Wednesday night (7 p.m.) the University Players perform. It is also the first week of the Advent season, so there will be Advent readings and a candlelighting. Both services will be in Bauman Auditorium.

We hope you had a great break. Welcome back!

Are you an artist looking for a little extra cash?

November 27th, 2016

I’m looking for a studio artist (or enthusiast) to paint a landscape mural on a piece of 24-by-30-inch metal. It’s a Christmas present for my mom, a scene of Mt. Hood with a nest of squirrels in the foreground and a few other details.

I will give you a detailed comp and, of course, money. Contact me at mphillips13@georgefox.edu if you are interested or want more information.

Thank you,
McKayla Phillips

Vehicle registration change takes effect for adjunct professors

Adjunct professors: The bad news is your current parking permit is set to expire on Dec. 31, 2016; the good news is, if you will be on contract for spring 2017, we’ll be switching you to a staff permit that doesn’t expire!

In order to make this switch happen, you will need to come to the security office before Jan. 7. We will review your vehicles that are registered before issuing your new permit, so if you have vehicle updates, please bring your DMV registration slip to the office.
