Consider adding Technical Writing (WRIT 240) to your spring schedule. Here’s a few reasons why:
- Technical Writing is an extremely practical course that will help anyone who plans to work in an organization (business, research, education, nonprofit) write more effective reports, letters, memos, and emails.
- It will look good on your resume. Surveys tell us that effective writing skills are at the top of employers’ lists in the hiring process.
- The instructor, Gary Tandy, has 15 years’ experience as a full-time and contract technical writer for business and educational organizations.
- While this class may have the most direct application to science, engineering and business majors, liberal arts or humanities majors can also benefit. The major writing project for the class can be tailored to your major or career interest.
Questions? Contact Gary Tandy at gtandy@georgefox.edu.
