It has come to our attention that a potential housing scam is going through the Newberg area. One of our community members inquired about a four-bedroom, three-bath house for $900 a month on Wilsonville Road. The house is listed on Craigslist, and the advertisement makes the family appear to be living on the mission field.
The student found out that in fact this advertisement is part of a scam. To read more about how to protect yourself from rental scams, please click on this link.
For more information, contact the student life office at studentlife@georgefox.edu.

Join the university’s French and cinema programs for tonight’s Fox French Film Festival in Hoover 105.
Opening the night will be the classic comedy La Grande Vadrouille (Don’t Look Now – We’re Being Shot At). Set during WWII, this is a beloved movie in France, where it remained the top-grossing film for more than 30 years. It shows at 7 p.m.
Immediately following, at 9 p.m., Le Hérisson (The Hedgehog) will be featured. This very French, life-affirming film explores the unlikely friendship between a precocious 11-year-old determined to end her life on her 12th birthday and the gruff super of the Parisian building in which her family lives.
