Did you know that you can get your CPR/First Aid/AED/BLS training right here on campus? Mark Stone, our certified senior security training officer, can take up to eight people (minimum of four to hold the training) per class and can also customize the times to fit your schedule.
We recommend having one person (at a minimum) certified in each department, and the BLS training is required for nursing and doctor of physical therapy students. Please arrange for your training now to take place this summer.
Please contact Mark at 503-554-2090 or email him at mstone@georgefox.edu to set up your classes!

Will your mailbox be open during part or all summer? Only if you requested it to be open part or all summer. You could have done this by responding to summer address information emails.
If you need your mailbox to be open and you have not taken care of this, please email Jered McConaughey at jmcconaughey@georgefox.edu.

Following is important information regarding mailbox keys …
Returning students: Keep your mailbox key all summer. You will have the same box next fall.
Graduating or withdrawing students: Return your mailbox key by end of finals week to avoid a $15 non-returned key fine – charged to your student account.
Where do I return the mailbox key?
There are key return envelopes on the counters at all post offices. Fill out the envelope and seal the key inside the envelope. Drop the envelope into the Campus Mail slot. You can also bring the key to Mail Services (where you pick up packages).
Contact Jered McConaughey at jmcconaughey@georgefox.edu with any questions.

If you get class papers returned to your mailbox after you leave for the summer …
Returning students: Your class papers will stay in your campus box until you return in the fall.
Graduating seniors: Mail Services will hold your class papers for one month for you to pick them up. After that time, the papers will be shredded.
Class papers will be available for pick-up the second week of May.
Contact Jered McConaughey at jmcconaughey@georgefox.edu with any questions.

Tuesday, April 25th, 2017
There will be no delivery of student mail or class papers after noon on Friday, April 28.
This allows time for Mail Services to convert mailboxes from spring semester to summertime use. Mail delivery to campus mailboxes that have been requested to remain open will begin on Monday, May 1. Forwarding of U.S. Mail for all other students will also begin next week.
Contact Jered McConaughey at jmcconaughey@georgefox.edu if you have any questions.

Here is the policy for leaving cars on campus during Juniors Abroad and summer serve trips:
- If you can leave your car with a friend off campus that will look after and drive your vehicle, that is preferable, as the university is NOT responsible for any theft or damage to your vehicle while left unattended on campus.
- Your car must be left in the Le Shana parking lot and parked close to the building.
- All personal belongings must be taken out of the vehicle to avoid tempting a potential thief.
- Key MUST be left with Security Services before departure.
- Security has a form to be signed, and name and number of emergency contact is needed on the form in addition to your license plate number, make and model of vehicle.
- Upon return from the trip, call security at 503-554-2090 to arrange a time with the officer on duty to pick up your key if it is after office hours. Bring photo ID to claim your key.
- Any vehicle left on campus without the key being left with security is subject to tow due to Plant Services activity all around campus during the summer.
- Do not abandon your car on city streets, as the city of Newberg will tow it as an “abandoned vehicle” after 72 hours!
- Enjoy your time abroad!
