Are you looking for ways to get involved on campus? Do you want to help out a really cool organization?
Come volunteer on Saturday, Oct. 28, with Open Arms International! SpIL partners with Open Arms, which is hosting a fundraising banquet. They would love to have some volunteers from George Fox. This banquet is a recreation of the villages in Kenya and is a great opportunity to learn about one of our international parters, as well as meeting the staff who make nonprofits run.
Volunteers work in two shifts:
- Set up: 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Evening: 3:30-9:30 p.m.
Carpooling options available! Open Arms is a local nonprofit that helps orphaned children in Kenya have a safe, loving home and the ability to hear about the love of Jesus. They are truly living out grace and peace.
If you are interested or want more information, please contact Hannah Lingel (hlingel15@georgefox.edu).
