About the exhibit
During the 2016-17 academic year, the Graduate School of Counseling staff and faculty committed​ ​themselves​ ​to a book group, reading through and processing the work of Ta-Nehisi Coates’ Between the World and Me. In the book, Coates addresses what it means to inhabit an African American body in today’s America. Jennifer created “I am afraid” in response to Coates’ work.

Do you have Achilles tendon pain? If so, you may qualify to participate in an Achilles Tendinopathy Research Study conducted by the physical therapy department.
Last year’s participants reported significant improvements with pain and function! Participants who complete the 10-week program will qualify for compensation.

The city of Newberg will limit Fulton Street to one lane today (Tuesday). Flaggers will be on hand to direct traffic, so expect major delays. Drivers are encouraged to use a different route, as the street will be one lane all day, starting at 7 a.m.
The closure will occur east of the Bauman parking lot entrance at the top of the hill, past Thomas Lane and the West Wheeler/Le Shana parking lot entrance. Cars will be able to enter the Le Shana lot from the east entrance off Fulton Street. It is unclear if there will be access to the Wheeler circle lot. Entrance to the Bauman parking lot will be unaffected.
Thank you for your patience as the city corrects an issue with a sewer line traveling across Fulton Street.
The 40-day period leading up to Easter, called Lent, begins tomorrow (Wednesday). The season of Lent beckons us to prepare our hearts for Easter by inviting us into confession of our need for a Savior and calling us into intimacy with God through practices that remind us of God’s character and presence.
The campus pastors will be offering an Ash Wednesday service to lead the community into the season of Lent on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Bauman Auditorium during our usual Vespers chapel service. We will also offer a more informal Ash Wednesday service from 4 to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday in the Prayer Chapel. All are welcome.
