Custodial Services still has some summer work positions available. During the summertime, the custodial team goes into high gear. Not only do they deep clean the areas previously occupied by students and faculty, they also clean rooms and residences in between conference groups.

The campus is always busy, which means the custodial crew is always busy! Our schedules are Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and Tuesday through Saturday, 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Several times during the summer, our teams will need to work over the weekend for some conference groups.

Come support the George Fox Doctor of Physical Therapy program’s service trip to Africa! We are hosting a 5K and one-mile glow run at 8 p.m. on Friday, April 13, beginning at the university’s amphitheater.

Have fun with the whole family at this nighttime glow run complete with glow sticks, a glow-painting station, a photo booth and DJ! Come get fit by participating in either run and have fun while doing it! All proceeds from the event will support the 24 students and five faculty heading to Ghana or Uganda this June.

The cost is $25 per participant, $10 for students, and free to kids 12 and under. Click on this link to register or register by showing up on the night of the event.

George Fox and the American Red Cross are hosting a blood drive next week. The need for blood is constant, and only volunteer donors can fulfill that need for patients in our community. Nationwide, someone needs a unit of blood every two to three seconds, and most of us will need blood in our lifetime.

Got stress, aches and pains, or do you just want to feel relaxed? We want to help! Come by to get a massage performed by a doctor of physical therapy student and receive free stress management advice!

Our mission is to improve our community’s health by offering discounted massages to students ($10) and employees ($15). We are offering 30-minute massages on Friday, April 13, from noon to 5:30 p.m. in Roberts 204. All proceeds will be donated to help fund our medical service trip to Africa! The Coast to Coast Swing Dance Club is hosting its first dance since spring break tomorrow (Saturday) in the FoxHole! Bring your friends and bring your dancing shoes. All levels of dancers are welcome! We hope to see you there!
