You may need to move vehicle as windstorm approaches

Friday, November 30th, 2007

Weather reports indicate that the Pacific Northwest may experience a strong windstorm in the coming days. In light of this, it is strongly recommended you consider moving your vehicle to a safer location.

Please note: No parking citations will be issued to accommodate this preventive measure.

If you are assigned to park in the following parking lots, please move your vehicle as soon as possible:

  • South and East side of the Pennington parking lot
  • Newlin Apartments
  • Weesner House
  • Weesner Village
  • Along the streets near Douglas Fir trees

The following parking lots would be better options during high winds:

  • Behind the Villa Academic Center (the old hospital)
  • Sherman Arms
  • Macy
  • Old part of the Le Shana parking lot
  • Bauman
  • Stevens Center

Thank you for your cooperation.

Le Shana Idea Survey

Thursday, November 29th, 2007

Below is a survey my class group came up with to get input on an idea we would like to put into place in what used to be the Le Shana cafe. I hope a lot of you take the survey, so we can try to put this idea into place in Le Shana and win the contest in our class.

Just so you know our idea is to put arcade games (like Pac man, Pinball machine, Mortal combat, etc), DVD Rental Machine ($1.00 to rent), and other vending machines for drinks and snacks.

Please take our survey and hopefully your input will show us if this idea will be a great addition to our campus.  Your input is greatly appreciated.
