Caution labels will be placed on university’s Ricoh copiers

Thursday, July 8th, 2010

Print Services will be placing caution labels on all floor-model Ricoh copiers within the next week. The Ricoh Americas Corporation distributed the labels based on the risk of the copiers tipping over when more than one of the paper trays is open at the same time. While there have been no reports of such incidents in the United States, prevention starts with this notice, the application of the labels, and a follow-up visit from the repair techs as they can get to each machine.

If you have noticed even the slightest possibility of this incident with any of our Ricoh copiers, please let Elizabeth Holme (Print Services) know either by e-mail or phone (ext. 2550).
