The weather forecast is calling for warm temperatures and sunny skies; bring your family and enjoy one of the last beautiful days before winter!

Bauman Parking Lot

Entrances to the football game
There will be two entrances into the game and both are located in the Bauman parking lot, directly behind the stadium.

The Fitness Center will remain open for normal business hours, but you will need to enter through the hallway entrance located on the field level, toward the end of the building near the tennis courts. There will be security officers who will ask you where you are headed; just let them know that you are going to work out.

Bauman Walkway
The sidewalk located between the football stadium and Bauman will be closed. Please walk around the building and do not move the barricade.

Circle Parking Lot
The circle parking lot near Wheeler will be closed for the day. This space is reserved for officials to park in. Officials will arrive as early as 10 a.m.

Sideline Passes
No one will be granted field access without a sideline pass. Sideline passes are issued to those who are required to work and/or have official business during the game.

Tickets
Students and staff can show their ID cards at the gate to get into the game free of charge. If you’d like to bring your family along to the game, you can purchase your tickets at the gate or in advance online at this link.

Update links to www.georgefox.edu to use secure HTTPS protocol

Tuesday, October 24th, 2017

A few weeks ago Marketing Communications migrated www.georgefox.edu (not athletics.georgefox.edu, blogs.georgefox.edu, etc.) from using the insecure HTTP protocol (e.g. http://www.georgefox.edu/) to the secure HTTPS protocol (e.g. https://www.georgefox.edu).

Now we need to update links to www.georgefox.edu in our emails and other materials.

This just requires adding an “s” to the protocol to make this change (e.g. http://www.georgefox.edu/ -> https://www.georgefox.edu/).

This change needs to be made in all digital media that links to www.georgefox.edu: emails, email signatures, saved text to be pasted into emails, PDFs, links on other websites (not links *on* www.georgefox.edu), etc.

In print materials, it’s still fine to use URLs that do not include the protocol (e.g. georgefox.edu/visit).

Please take a moment to update links to www.georgefox.edu in any digital media you manage.

Questions? Email Peter Crackenberg at pcrackenberg@georgefox.edu.
