Monday, July 8th, 2019The Hadlock Student Center will be closed tomorrow (Wednesday) from 6 to 9 a.m. while the city of Newberg is repairing the water main.
We will reopen for our normal afternoon hours.

Bon Appetit’s culinary journey along Route 66 resumes tomorrow (Wednesday) with a stop in Arizona.
Join us on the Klages patio between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. for a Sonoran-style bacon-wrapped hot dog on a house-made bun with assorted toppings, along with a Southwest potato salad, sopapilla bars, and an Arizona Sunset drink, all for $7.25. See you there!

The university’s athletics department and the Chehalem Parks and Recreation District are excited to announce the fifth annual Bruins Sports Day on Tuesday, Aug. 20.
Girls and boys entering the second through eighth grades in the fall will have the opportunity to pick one of 11 sports and participate in an afternoon clinic, free of charge. The event runs from 12:30 to 3 p.m. Check-in begins at 12:30 p.m. at the site of your sport.

Tomorrow (Tuesday), the HVAC team will have a crane located off of Carlton Way between the Mail Services building (North Street Annex) and Bauman Auditorium. This will require that all of Carlton Way be closed off from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The university’s offices and libraries on the Newberg and Portland campuses will be closed on Thursday, July 4, in observance of the Independence Day holiday. The Bruin Store will also be closed that day.
