Google Drive is the new home for Google Docs.

Your files are now stored in Google Drive, and you can access them anytime at drive.google.com or by clicking on the word “Drive” in the black Google Toolbar. Just like before, you can upload, edit, share, and create files online. But with Google Drive, you can access your files wherever you are, from any device. And you can work with even more file types by installing Google Drive apps.

Student life policies for graduate and Department of Professional Studies students are now online. Information about policies and reporting for harassment, discrimination, sexual harassment, bias-related incidents, hate crimes and sexual assault can be found online at graddpspolicies.georgefox.edu.

Don’t forget to let iGFU.georgefox.edu help you kickoff the new semester. If you login to the MyGFU area many services will be available to you. Of course “My Class Schedule” might be helpful this first week. And if you see the option “Current Special,” check it out for campus deals. And remember, if you see an icon associated with an iGFU service, tap it to see what it may provide.

Lost all the sites on your FoxTALE home page? Never fear! Just log onto foxtale19.georgefox.edu to access them. We upgraded FoxTALE on Monday, Aug 20. The address foxtale.georgefox.edu now points to a new environment for 2012-13 and beyond.

Your old sites will be available in foxtale19.georgefox.edu for a year. Questions? Contact the Service Desk.

Take a moment to write an e-mail, e-card, or traditional “thank you” card to that professor (or other person). Try to be specific as you describe how this person has contributed to your life.

Newberg students can stop by the SUB to pick up a blank card. Of course, one can make or buy one’s own card.

The university’s offices and libraries will be closed on Friday, April 6, to observe Good Friday. The Newberg library will be closed Friday and Sunday but will be open between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Saturday. The Portland Center library will be closed Friday through Sunday.

All Newberg, Portland, Boise, Salem and Redmond offices will be closed tomorrow (Friday, March 30), for the spring break holiday. All libraries and bookstores will be closed as well.

The Bruin Bookstore, textbook annex and its online store will be closed for business to conduct its annual year-end inventory process starting this Monday, March 26, during spring break.

To strive for accuracy, we are not able to conduct any business during this closure. Phone calls, voice mail messages and e-mails will not be responded to until this procedure is completed. There will not be any money on hand to make change. Please plan ahead to get all your Bruin necessities before Monday! We truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

The bookstore will reopen on Monday, April 2, at 8 a.m. Thank you for supporting your Bruin Bookstore!
