Hear stories at ‘Breaking Barriers: Women Leading in STEM’ on Wednesday

All are welcome to attend IRC’s upcoming panel featuring three women leaders in STEM. Our guests will speak on their valuable experience in hopes of sharing wisdom to others in their field.

Join us in Stevens 208 this Wednesday, March 20, at 6 p.m. to hear from this panel! Check out the short bios provided to learn a bit about our speakers.

Gladis Reyes is a George Fox alumna and was recipient of the Act Six scholarship. She currently works at OHSU as a core scientist and plans to pursue a graduate degree in chemical research toxicology, drug development, or nanomedicine.

Jamie Zuckerman graduated from George Fox with a degree in biochemistry and was captain of the swim team during her junior and senior years. She aspires to perform biochemical research that would significantly improve the quality of life for those who are impacted by illness.

Jennylin Lopez was born and raised in Arequipa, Peru. She finished a bachelor’s degree in ministry, then came to George Fox to get her bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. Growing up in the church, Jennylin served in many different spheres of ministry at a young age. One of her passions is seeing people encounter the love of the Father and hopes to see lives, families, cities and countries transformed by it.

We hope to see you there! Please reach out to Gaddiel Vergara at evergara22@georgefox.edu if you have any questions.
