Brown Bag Cultural Insights: Living in the Middle East
Come, bring your lunch, and learn what it’s like to live in Afghanistan or the UAE (United Arab Emirates). George Fox students with Middle Eastern ethnicity will share such experiences as growing up in an an Islamic society, living in one of the most highly affluent cities in the world (Abu Dhabi), and dealing with the daily realities of family and friends in a war-ravaged nation.
These presentations will be interactive, so there will be opportunities for questions and dialogue. Feel free to drop in and leave as your schedule permits.
